1. About Our Craft

Zygma is a small-batch, artisan-led leather goods brand. Every product — from a sling bag to a laptop bag — is 100% handcrafted from genuine buffalo leather by our collective of skilled local artisans using traditional hand-stitching, manual braiding, and natural dyeing techniques.

We do not engage in mass production. Each piece is made to order specifically for you, which means your order enters the production queue immediately after confirmation.

2. Making Time (Production Before Dispatch)

The following timelines apply from the date of order confirmation and payment:

Standard Products — Bags, Sling Bags, Wallets, Accessories, Belts, Keychains

• Production time: 5 to 10 working days
• Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays begin processing the next working day

Laptop Bags & Structured Office Sets

• Production time: 10 to 15 working days
• These items require additional crafting time due to structural complexity

3. Shipping & Delivery

3.1 Domestic Shipping (Within India)

• Delivery within 3 to 5 working days after dispatch, depending on your location and delivery partner
  
• A tracking link will be shared via WhatsApp and email once your order is dispatched

3.2 International Shipping (USA, UAE, Singapore, UK, Canada & more)

• Delivery within 10 to 15 working days after dispatch via international postal networks
• Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight
• A tracking number will be shared via email once dispatched

3.3 Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

Import duties, customs tariffs, VAT, and any other fees levied by the destination country are entirely the customer’s responsibility. Zygma is not liable to pay any such charges on the customer’s behalf.

3.4 Failed Delivery & Re-Shipping

If a delivery fails due to any of the following, re-shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility:

• An incorrect shipping address provided by the customer
• Recipient unavailability after multiple delivery attempts
• Package refusal by the recipient

The delivery partner will attempt re-delivery as per standard protocols. If the parcel is returned to our workshop, additional re-shipping charges will apply for a second dispatch.

4. Order Tracking

• A tracking link is sent via WhatsApp and email once your order is dispatched

5. Cancellation Policy

Given the made-to-order, handcrafted nature of Zygma products, the following cancellation terms apply:

5.1 Cancellation Window

• Cancellations are accepted ONLY within 24 hours of placing and confirming your order
• After 24 hours, your order enters production and materials are locked in — cancellation is not possible
• To cancel, contact us immediately via WhatsApp (+91 86080 58590) or email (hello@volkotech.in) with your Order ID

5.2 Refund on Cancellation

• If cancelled within 24 hours: Full refund to the original payment source within 5 to 7 working days
• Prepaid orders: Refunded to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking)
• COD orders: Refunded to a bank account provided by the customer

6. Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy

Zygma operates under a limited returns policy to protect our sustainable, small-batch production model.

6.1 Eligible Reasons for Return or Replacement

Returns, exchanges, or replacements are accepted ONLY under the following conditions:

• The product arrives with physical damage caused during transit
• The product has a verifiable manufacturing defect — structural, stitching, or hardware failure at time of delivery
• An incorrect product, colour variant, or wrong item was shipped by Zygma

6.2 How to Report an Issue

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery — claims submitted after 48 hours will not be accepted

• Provide your Order ID (e.g. #1375), clear photographs of the defect or damage, and a brief description
• An unboxing video from the moment the sealed package is opened is strongly recommended — it significantly speeds up claim verification and protects both parties

Once your claim is verified, you may ship the product back to us. After we receive and inspect the item, we will dispatch a replacement.

If the original variant is unavailable, we will offer you a store credit or a refund.

6.3 Non-Returnable Conditions

Returns will NOT be accepted under the following circumstances:

• Change of mind after production has commenced or the order has been dispatched
• Minor tonal colour differences due to screen display variations — leather colours shown on-screen may vary slightly from the physical product
• Natural surface markings, grain patterns, scars, or texture variations inherent to genuine buffalo leather — these are characteristics of authentic leather, not defects
• Products showing signs of use, wear, alteration, or damage after delivery
• Products returned without original packaging, tags, or invoice
• Claims submitted beyond 48 hours of delivery

6.4 Customised & Personalised Orders

• Products with custom modifications, personalised embossing, or bespoke sizing are completely non-returnable
• These are made exclusively to your specifications and cannot be resold

6.5 Refund Timeline

• Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 working days of return receipt and verification
• Refunds are issued to the original payment source (UPI, card, or bank account for COD)
• Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to Zygma’s error

7. Natural Leather Characteristics

Zygma products are crafted from genuine buffalo leather — a natural material. The following are NOT considered defects:

• Colour variation: Each leather hide is unique. Slight tone differences from screen images are natural and expected
• Surface markings and scars: Natural markings on buffalo leather enhance its authentic character and are a hallmark of genuine leather
• Grain and texture: No two pieces of leather are identical — minor variation in grain texture is inherent to the material
• Hardware tarnishing: Metal hardware (antique brass, silver-tone) may develop natural patina over time due to use and environmental exposure
• Handmade variation: As all items are individually handcrafted, minor differences in dimensions (within 5mm) or stitch spacing are to be expected
